Stranger Things Season 4: Makers Release First 8-minutes From Episode 1, Fans Call It ‘INSANE’, SPOILERS AHEAD-Watch At Your Own Risk
The makers of Stranger Things surprised the much-elated fans with Season 4’s first 8-minutes via social media. The latest clip brings back Matthew Modine’s Dr. Martin Brenner for a thrilling little flashback sequence set in Hawkins National Laboratories in 1970, as Brenner is working in his X-Men-styled hospital with psychically-gifted children. 

Well, fans clearly seem to be impressed with the chilling opening sequence of Strange Things Season 4. 

The video came with the description, “What have you done? With one week to go, watch the first 8 minutes of ST4. And mark your calendars for our episode split announcement ⬇️

ST4 Vol. 1. Seven Episodes. May 27th.

ST4 Vol. 2. Two Episodes. July 1st.”



WARNING: Spoilers Ahead! 

According to the clip, the opening scene reintroduces Dr Martin Brenner (Matthew Modine) and then the video continues with Hawkins National Laboratories in the 1970s. Meanwhile, the Psychically-gifted children are seen in a room playing, later, Martin takes Ten with him 'for some lessons'. However, events soon turn grim as Ten sees a doctor at the facility and a child dead.

Soon, the door blasts hurting Martin and after regaining consciousness,  he steps out of the room to witness bloodshed all around the facility - dead bodies of children and security guards covered in blood. On entering a strange room, Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) is seen facing away from him. 

Martin asks her, "What have you done?" Eleven turns around only to show blood streaming down her eyes and nose.

A fan reacted to the video and said, "I don't usually get scared easily, but after seeing what stranger things has become, I'm truly terrified to see what'll happen next. This was amazing." Another said, "I did NOT expect that!! This season is gonna be something else for sure. Can’t wait!!" "They weren't lying when they said this was gonna be a horror movie whattt," commented a fan.

On the other hand, Netflix has also revealed the number of episodes that will be released in the season’s two ‘volumes’. Volume one premieres next week and it will have seven episodes. While volume two debuts just over a month later, on July 1, 2022, and it will have two episodes.
